At the heart of the Strata Core is a powerful multicore processor running the industry-standard BFD3 sound engine. This isn’t just a collection of sounds; it is a massive 25GB library featuring over 370 kit pieces and 800 articulations recorded in world-class studios. The Strata Core redefines electronic percussion response with its ARC cymbal technology and the world's first Active Magnetic hi-hat. The 14" ride and dual 12" crashes feature 360-degree triple-zone surfaces, allowing you to play anywhere on the bell, bow, or edge without dead zones. Paired with a 12" hi-hat that utilizes contactless magnetic position sensing, the kit captures every subtle pedal movement with high-resolution accuracy. This breakthrough technology bridges the gap between acoustic and digital, offering the nuanced articulation required for complex performances.
Playability is further enhanced by Alesis’s patented anti-hotspot sensor system, which eliminates the unnatural "hot" triggers found on many electronic pads.
