The DHA V226 sports powerful DAC hardware with its Cirrus-based CS43131 DAC chip which supports 32-bit PCM decoding and an impressive 130 dB dynamic range. Through USB-C, sample rates as high as 384 kHz PCM and up to 256 DSD.

The success of the Violectric DHA V226 headphone amplifier circuitry can be found in its praised and award-winning predecessors V200, V280 and V281. Inside the DHA V226 you can enjoy similar features of natural but smooth and exceptional sound.

Because of its matchless technology the DHA V226 not only offers a powerful headphone amplifier with DAC and pre-amp, but also:
Lowest noise - only a very small amount of internal gain. This makes the amplifier's self-generated noise inaudible.
High output voltage - due to 50-volt internal operating voltage. Therefore ideally suited for high-impedance headphones deserving high output voltage swing.
High output power - thanks to the power of this amplifier not even the most demanding headphones would need more. Making the DHA V226 best suited for headphones with low impedances as well as magnetostatic headphones!!
High damping factor - due to the lowest output impedance. Therefore the ideal match for difficult-to-drive headphones without negative side effects and with the guarantee for any uncompromising frequency response.

Functions:
