Unprecedented Fidelity
The core of the Apollo x4 Gen 2 lies in its elite-class audio conversion, offering 24-bit / 192 kHz resolution. The new generation features UA’s highest-resolution D/A converters ever. This enhanced D/A is specifically designed for critical monitoring and playback, providing an industry-leading dynamic range of 129 dB. This level of sonic accuracy is noted to be "on another level".

Hybrid Real-time Analog Tone
The interface is equipped with four Unison™ preamps and dual front panel Hi-Z instrument inputs, allowing you to track through authentic emulations of classic preamps and channel strips from Neve, Manley, API, and dozens more. This is achieved by the Unison™ technology accurately adjusts the impedance and gain staging of the hardware to match the modeled analog gear, adding rich analog textures to recordings. Furthermore, the onboard QUAD Core DSP allows you to run UAD plug-ins in real-time with near-zero latency during recording. This integration creates a powerhouse hybrid workflow that surpasses native-only recording setups, combining the DSP processing with native processing from your host computer for large, complex sessions.

Studio Confidence Monitoring
A significant improvement in the Gen 2 interfaces is in workflow-critical areas like monitor correction and gain staging. The Apollo x4 introduces Apollo Monitor Correction powered by Sonarworks®, which allows you to calibrate your main monitor and headphone outputs. This integration runs in real-time on the onboard DSP, ensuring accurate and precise monitoring without latency. The updated UAD Console app also features Bass Management for seamless subwoofer integration and an integrated talkback for easy communication with talent, alongside new features like Auto-Gain for fast input level adjustments.
