Unison™ Technology with Assistive Auto-Gain
At the core of the interface are two Unison™ mic preamps, which physically alter their impedance and gain staging to match the behaviour of classic tube and solid-state hardware from Neve, API, and Manley. The Gen 2 update introduces Assistive Auto-Gain, a workflow innovation that analyses your input signal and automatically sets the perfect level in seconds. This ensures you capture the "sweet spot" of every performance without ever worrying about clipping or distortion.

Apollo Monitor Correction & Bass Management 
For the first time, users can apply professional room correction directly to the interface’s DSP. Integrated with Sonarworks® SoundID Reference, the Apollo Twin X allows you to load custom monitor profiles to correct your room’s acoustics in real-time for both speakers and headphones. Additionally, the new Bass Management feature seamlessly integrates subwoofers, giving you full control over low-end crossover frequencies for precise 2.1 monitoring.

Real-Time DUO Core DSP Processing 
The interface is powered by two onboard SHARC DSP processors, allowing you to track through UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency. This frees up your computer’s CPU for mixing duties while letting you record with the rich, three-dimensional sound of analogue chains—including compressors, EQs, and amp sims—processed in real-time before the audio even hits your DAW.
