The Phonitor One d from Sound Performance Lab (SPL), manufactured in Germany, is an audiophile-grade headphone amplifier. With a superior 32-bit DA converter and up to 768 kHz of outstanding sound quality, the SPL One d amp offers professionals and audiophiles critical listening. 3 Stereo Inputs
Two analogue stereo inputs and one digital USB input can be connected to the Phonitor One d. Your computer, tablet, or phone can be connected via USB. Other players such as a CD player, mixer, synthesizer, tape machine, tape deck and more can also be connected to the analogue line inputs, either through balanced TRS jacks or unbalanced RCA connections.

Superior 32-Bit DA-Converter
The converter chip used is the AKM AK4490, a 32-bit DAC equipped with AKM's Velvet Sound. This technology achieves a greater degree of resolution thanks to its low-distortion architecture. It supports sampling frequencies up to 768 kHz PCM (16x CD resolution) and DSD (Direct Stream Digital) playback up to DSD256 (11.2 MHz) resolution. 

Top-Drawer Components
Like every SPL product, the Phonitor One d, uses only the highest-grade parts. Two pristine Burr-Brown OPA 2134 SoundPlus operational amplifiers handle preamplification. Specially designed for audiophile-grade circuits, this extremely low-noise, low-distortion, high-speed FET stage achieves an impressive slew rate of 20V/µs. Low-capacitance film capacitors are installed in the signal path to ensure precision transmission of high-frequency signal components.

Phonitor Matrix is Perfect for Critical Listening
You'll be able to use your headphones or speakers more effectively when you monitor through the SPL Phonitor One d. Thanks to the acclaimed Phonitor Matrix you can re-create the spatial effects of listening to stereo loudspeakers (listening angle and crossfeed between left and right channels) through your headphones.

The realistic stereo imaging of the Phonitor Matrix mode will allow you to make better panning, EQ, effect signals and mixing adjustments than you would otherwise with headphones.
