The SPL Marc One belongs at the centre of your studio desk. The attention to detail and high-quality control facilities enable you to audition your mixes and masters meticulously. This impressive controller features switchable outputs for two pairs of speakers, a subwoofer output, two analogue stereo input sources and one digital (USB) source. As well as an audiophile-grade headphone amplifier the Marc One also includes SPL's world-acclaimed Phonitor Matrix.

Intended for studio projects, the Marc One offers professionals a flexible monitoring chain with a superior32-bit AD/DA converter and premium components.

Comprehensive Monitoring
As a full-fledged monitor controller, Marc One allows you to listen to your tracks through two switchable pairs of speakers, along with a subwoofer that’s switched on and off with speaker pair A. Two analogue stereo sources and one digital (USB) source can be connected directly  - ensuring your auditions are excellent-sounding. 

Marc One’s line-level output can be looped between devices without sacrificing any of the outputs. What’s more, you get three monitoring modes: Stereo, Mono, and Channel Swap. 

Three Monitoring Modes
The monitor control facilities provide three modes of monitoring: (i) default "Stereo;" (ii) "Mono" compatibility and (iii) channel "Swap. This is a great way to test if centre elements are in fact sitting in the centre of your mix. Or to correct an incorrect left/right orientation while monitoring.

Phonitor Matrix is Perfect for Monitoring
You'll be able to use your headphones or speakers more effectively when you monitor with the Marc One. Thanks to the acclaimed Phonitor Matrix you can re-create the spatial effects of listening to stereo loudspeakers (listening angle and crossfeed between left and right channels) through your headphones. 

The realistic stereo imaging of the Phonitor Matrix mode will allow you to make better panning, EQ, effect signals and mixing adjustments than you would otherwise with headphones.

Superior 32-Bit DA-Converter
The converter chip uses the Premium AK4490, a new generation of 32-bit DACs equipped with AKM's Velvet Sound. This technology achieves a greater degree of resolution thanks to its low-distortion architecture. It supports sampling frequencies up to 768 kHz PCM (16x CD resolution) and DSD (Direct Stream Digital) playback up to DSD4 or DSD256 (11.2 MHz) resolution.
