SPL Gemini is the first mid/side processor in 120V technology. Optimized for mastering, Gemini provides M/S encoding and decoding, giving you a surprising amount of flexibility to access individual elements within a stereo mix. For example, Gemini can separate mid signals such as kick, snare, bass, or lead vocals from side signals like guitars, keyboards, and cymbals.

Mastering genius
SPL Gemini lets you enhance the stereo image of a mix. Gemini’s Balance control gives you the option of re-positioning the mid signal within the stereo spread, while its Trim control lets you tweak the mid signal level in relation to the side signal. There’s a Stereo Width control that provides adjustment for the mix ratio between the mid and side channels. Also onboard is an Elliptical Filter, which can attenuate the low-frequency content of the side band. The SPL Gemini is a powerful tool for home, project, and commercial recording facilities and mastering houses. You will be amazed and delighted at what it can do for your mixes!
