8 x SSL-designed Mic/Line inputs
The SSL 18 features eight high-performance mic preamps with switchable Mic/Line configuration, delivering ultra-low noise and a wide dynamic range for precise recordings. Its advanced 2-stage circuitry minimizes distortion while preserving the source's character, and the Legacy 4K Mode adds analogue saturation for that iconic 4000 series sound. In Line mode, the mic preamp stage is bypassed for connecting external gear. Inputs 1 & 2 on the front also include instrument/Hi-Z inputs for DI’d guitars and vintage synths/drum machines.

4K Legacy Analogue Enhancement
