The new SSL 12 12-in/8-out USB bus-powered audio interface from Solid State Logic, Oxford England enables you to get studio-quality audio into and out of your computer with minimal fuss and maximum creativity.
Building upon the success of SSL 2 and SSL 2+, SSL 12 gives you more. More I/O, more performance and more versatility. SSL 12 is fully integrated with SSL 360° software: Your SSL Control Room. Here you can assign monitor controls, create multiple independent headphone mixes, choose your Loopback source, customise the 3 front panel user buttons and much more. SSL 12 presents a combination of professional features and workflow never seen before in a portable desktop interface.

SSL built their reputation on their celebrated large-format consoles, which have bought to life countless hit records and Grammy-winning albums. In particular, the SSL 4000 series console has inspired generations of musicians, producers, and engineers with its undeniable analogue mojo.
The SSL12 brings that signature 4000 series sound into your project studio with its Legacy 4K feature, which, with the push of a button, injects a musical high-frequency boost, alongside a controlled amount of finely tuned harmonic distortion. It's perfect for adding character and edge to your vocals and instruments.

The SSL12 comes bundled with two SSL Native channel strips: (i) Vocalstrip’s four vocal-specific processors — De-esser, De-ploser, 3-Band EQ, and Compander — you can easily achieve an articulate and impactful vocal sound. (ii) Drumstrip provides five carefully selected processing tools — including transient shaper, drum gate, high- and low-frequency enhancers, and the classic Listen Mic compressor — to add clarity, punch, and heft to any drum recording.
