Description

The Ultimate Heart of Your Hybrid Masterpiece

The Solid State Logic ORIGIN EVO 32 is a professional 32-channel in-line analogue recording console that represents the pinnacle of the iconic 4000 Series lineage. Designed specifically for high-end mixing engineers, world-class production houses, and elite recording studios, this console bridges the gap between legendary analogue headroom and modern digital precision. Whether you are tracking large-scale sessions or mixing complex hybrid projects, the ORIGIN EVO 32 delivers the "unmistakable SSL sound" with the ergonomic freedom required to inspire world-class creativity.

PureDrive™: Two Distinct Personalities The ORIGIN EVO 32 features the acclaimed PureDrive™ mic preamps, offering engineers a complete sonic palette from ultra-clean, high-resolution transparency to rich, driven character. By engaging the DRIVE circuit - a sophisticated evolution of SSL’s VHD technology - you can introduce warm, harmonically rich saturation that adds depth and energy to any tracking or printing session. This discrete transistor design provides over 70 dB of clean gain, ensuring you have the flexibility to choose between pristine purity and vintage-inspired grit in a single preamp.

Authentic E Series Processing on Every Channel

Every channel strip is a powerhouse of processing, featuring the legendary E Series 242 ‘Black Knob’ four-band parametric EQ, originally developed in collaboration with Sir George Martin. For the first time, this is paired with a faithful recreation of the original E Series dynamics, including punchy, aggressive compression and ultra-fast gating driven by original-spec Class-A VCA chips. This combination delivers the classic ‘80s SSL "glue" and punch, allowing you to sculpt professional mixes with the same precision that has defined four decades of hit records.

Engineered for the Sweet Spot

Built for the modern hybrid workflow, the ORIGIN EVO 32 features a modular 19-inch rackmount centre section that can be configured to put your most essential tools directly in front of you. This design allows for the seamless integration of SSL UF8 or UF1 DAW controllers, while the movable 3U centre meter panel ensures your workstation monitors never obscure your essential analogue metering. With features like a 0 dB fader bypass for high-speed stem printing and advanced electronic routing that replaces heat-sensitive traditional switches, this console is as reliable as it is sonically superior.
