The Rode Stereo VideoMic (SVM) Pro provides videographers a solid professional option for recording music and the atmospheric ambience spaces essential in building a realistic audio scene. The RODE Stereo VideoMic Pro Rycote does this by capturing an extra-wide stereo field that's much more true to life. Plus, RODE's 1/2" XY condenser spacing keeps audio in perfect phase when played back through mono and mobile devices.

The Mic That Keeps Giving 

The VideoMic Pro integrates the Rycote Lyre shockmount system that stabilises the mic from movement protecting against handling noise. Plus, made from thermoplastic that will never snap, bend, or break. system protects against handling noise.

The Stereo VideoMic features a high-pass filter switch at 75 Hz for minimizing low-frequency noise, and a -10 dB pad for maximizing headroom on behalf of capturing loud signals without distortion. The +20 dB level-boost switch is specifically designed to provide a higher-quality signal with DSLR cameras. When activated, the camera preamp level is reduced, resulting in a lower noise floor and a much clearer recording.
