Description
Bass Station Power in a Groovebox
The Novation Circuit Mono Station is a compact and portable paraphonic analogue synthesizer based on the Novation Bass Station II. The instrument features three sequencer tracks that benefit from the 32 (4 x 8) velocity-sensitive RGB pads found on the original Circuit groove box. The Circuit Mono Station offers a comprehensive set of connections with a single 1/4" line output, a 1/4" audio input, clock input and output via 1/8" connectors, and Note Out connections for CV, Gate, and Aux CV. Additionally, the device includes MIDI In, Out, and Thru via 1/8" connectors, which work with the included 1/8" to 5-pin DIN MIDI breakout cables.
Monophonic & Paraphonic
One of the most unique features of the Novation Circuit Mono Station is the monophonic and paraphonic modes. These two modes are available with each oscillator controlled by its own sequencer. In total, there are three sequencer tracks including two oscillator sequencers and one modulation sequencer. These modes allow you to alter gate length, choose sync rate, and switch and mutate patterns with ease. The 4x8 modulation matrix allows you to route from LFO with four waveshapes, envelope, sequencer or velocity. This enables you to utilise complex modulation for pitch, filter, pulse-widths, amp, distortion or CV. Up to 64 patches can be loaded and/or saved on the device, allowing you to recall your patches instantly.
Fully loaded with USB connectivity, MIDI I/O plus analogue CV, gate, and modulation outputs, the Circuit Mono Station is a perfect hub for all your sequencing needs. Whether you use it as a conduit between your MIDI gear and DAW (Ableton Live Lite included) or as the main sequencer in your Eurorack synth rig, you'll appreciate the epic flexibility of this amazing groovebox.
