The Reference Standard for Immersive Precision
The Neumann KH 870 II is a professional powered subwoofer engineered for serious mixing, mastering, and film work. It extends down to 16 Hz with double the output of its predecessor (KH 810), delivering the low-frequency accuracy and headroom demanded by top studios. Choose between the Flagship model or AES67 variant for networked audio integration. Whether you're mixing stereo or immersive 7.1.4 systems, this subwoofer provides the precision monitoring foundation professionals trust.
Subsonic Depth with ELFF™ Precision
Feel every nuance of the low end. Both versions utilize dual 10-inch long-throw drivers engineered with Extremely Linear Force Factor (ELFF™) technology. This innovation ensures that even at extreme sound pressure levels, harmonic distortion remains exceptionally low, providing a tight, transparent foundation that allows your main monitors to perform with newfound clarity.
The Hub for Immersive Monitoring
The KH 870 II is much more than a subwoofer; it is a sophisticated 7.1.4 bass manager. With its unique signal routing and DSP-powered engine, it acts as the central hub for your entire monitoring chain. It offers enough processing power to phase-linearise and align not only itself but also connected analog Neumann monitors (like the KH 310 or KH 420) when used with the MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system.
Next-Generation AoIP Integration (optional AES67)
For modern facilities built on network infrastructure, the KH 870 II AES67 adds redundant audio network ports compliant with ST 2110, ST 2022-7, and RAVENNA standards. It is also fully compatible with DANTE®-generated AES67 streams. This version can handle 12 AES67 input channels, distributing them to its internal drivers and up to 11 additional studio monitors via its analog and digital outputs.
