PureDrive™ Sonic Versatility 
The ORIGIN EVO features the innovative PureDrive™ mic preamps, offering a complete sonic palette from high-resolution, ultra-clean capture to rich, driven tones. By engaging the DRIVE circuit - an evolution of SSL’s VHD technology - engineers can introduce warm, harmonically rich character when the track demands it. This discrete transistor design ensures you have the choice between pristine transparency and characterful saturation, providing two distinct personalities in a single preamp.

Iconic E Series Processing 
Every channel strip is equipped with the most sought-after EQ design in history: the E Series 242 ‘Black Knob’ four-band parametric EQ, originally developed in collaboration with Sir George Martin. Complementing this is the authentic E Series dynamics section, featuring punchy, aggressive compression and ultra-fast gating recreated with original-spec Class-A VCA chips. This combination delivers the classic ‘80s SSL sound, providing the punch and "glue" that has defined hit records for decades.
