The Furman PL-PRO DMC is a 1U rackmount power conditioner engineered for recording studios, live sound rigs, and AV installations. It delivers clean, protected power to sensitive outboard gear, digital converters, and amplifiers while defending against electrical anomalies that compromise audio quality and equipment longevity.
Uncompromising Surge Defence Without Ground Contamination
Furman's proprietary Series Multi-Stage Protection (SMP) captures and dissipates extreme transient voltage spikes without sacrificing itself or contaminating system ground. Unlike standard surge suppressors that degrade over time and leak noise, SMP provides non-sacrificial protection tested to withstand multiple 6,000V or 3,000A impulses, keeping mission-critical hardware operational night after night.
Ultra-Quiet Audio Floor via Linear Noise Attenuation
Dirty AC power from modern switching supplies, dimmers, and industrial machinery causes clicks, pops, and high-frequency hash that degrade mixes. The PL-PRO DMC uses Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT) to apply smooth, linear attenuation across a broad frequency spectrum, dramatically lowering the noise floor without resonant peaking. The result is total transparency and pristine signal clarity for your audio preamps, converters, and monitors.
Instant Overvoltage Safeguard and Real-Time Monitoring
Power fluctuations can destroy delicate power supplies in milliseconds. The Furman PL-PRO DMC's Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) automatically disconnects all attached gear when voltage surges beyond safe limits, then restores power once conditions stabilize. A front-panel digital LED voltmeter and ammeter provide real-time monitoring of incoming AC voltage and true RMS current draw.
