Audio-Over-IP Control
RedNet A16R is a 1U, 16x16 analogue line-level I/O interface for any Dante™ audio-over-IP network. Featuring network and power supply redundancy, superior analogue circuitry and jitter-eliminating JetPLL technology. RedNet A16R is the ideal choice for providing analogue I/O in many critical-path applications, whether in Post Production, Broadcast, Live Sound or the Recording Studio.
Dante™ & Digital Audio
Focusrite RedNet uses the Dante protocol to connect to your studio network. Dante (Digital Audio Network Through Ethernet) transmits uncompressed, multi-channel digital audio over a standard Ethernet with incredibly low latency. Using Dante is super convenient and requires only a single Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable - not a bundle of cumbersome analogue cables. Plus your interface can be anywhere in the facility allowing you the flexibility to suit either a permanent installation or a repeated strike setup.
Independent Level Control
Individual input and output channel level controls allow for precise adjustment of all I/O levels using RedNet Control. With two power supplies and primary and secondary EtherCON network connectors, the built-in redundancy features allow for silent fail-over in the event of power or network outage, providing reassurance for system technicians.
The XLR input can accept DARS signals in addition to AES3. Word Clock I/O on BNC connectors allows external devices to clock to RedNet A16R MkII, or alternatively allows RedNet A16R MkII to act as a network clock grand master, following an external input.
