The Camden EC1 is a single-channel award-winning Camden preamp, Mojo analogue saturation processor, and reference-quality headphone amplifier housed in a desktop-friendly half-rack chassis. It delivers professional low-noise and low-distortion performance with frequency and phase linearity across all gain settings, providing a neutral canvas for recording or vintage tonal character via the Mojo circuit.

Pristine Performance with Vintage Mojo
The Camden EC1 achieves near-theoretical limits for noise and distortion. When harmonic character is required, the Mojo analogue saturation circuit provides two distinct styles: Thump for transformer-style low-end weight, and Cream for tube-style smoothness. This saturation is completely variable, allowing you to dial in the exact amount of character needed for any source.

Zero-Latency Monitoring and Headphone Mixing
Designed for musicians and voice-over artists, the EC1 features a high-power headphone amplifier capable of delivering 1.2W per ear. The discrete line mixer allows for zero-latency monitoring of the preamp signal mixed with external DAW playback via the rear-panel Aux Input jacks.

Connectivity and C.A.S.T. Integration
The EC1 includes a dedicated Link output for splitting instrument DIs to amplifiers and a C.A.S.T. Out port. This enables the transmission of balanced analogue audio over shielded Cat 5 Ethernet cables directly to Cranborne 500R8/500ADAT interfaces or N22 breakout boxes.
