The N22H is a standalone, reference-grade headphone amplifier and C.A.S.T. breakout box. It allows you to upgrade your monitoring quality by connecting line outputs from interfaces, mixers, or pedalboards directly into its inputs. With more power and higher clean volume than standard built-in headphone amps, it is a versatile tool for both studio and location tracking.

C.A.S.T. Breakout Box and Audio Distribution
The C.A.S.T. system replaces four XLR cables with a single shielded Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 7 cable, reducing cable clutter while maintaining professional sonic results. It ensures maximum signal integrity for distances up to 100m (330ft) with low crosstalk and no high-end roll-off. This system fully supports the transfer of 48V phantom power for condenser microphones and DI boxes.

Reference-Grade Performance
Derived from the high-end 500R8 interface, the N22H headphone amplifier delivers a ruler-flat frequency response from 0.8Hz to 250kHz with ultra-low distortion. With up to 950mW of power per ear, it provides enough clean headroom for high-impedance headphones and loud tracking environments.

Versatile Power Options
For maximum portability, the N22H can be powered by an external DC supply or a 9V battery, making it an essential tool for location recording and mobile rigs where traditional power may not be available.
