Four Reference Perspectives in One Box
Barefoot’s patented Multi-Emphasis Monitor Emulation™ (MEME) technology eliminates the need for secondary reference speakers that clutter your console and degrade your room's acoustics. By using sophisticated DSP modelling, the MiniMain12 can instantly transform its character to emulate the frequency, phase, and transient response of classic white-coned monitors or small single-driver "cubes". This allows you to check how your mix translates to different consumer environments without ever leaving the sweet spot.

Force-Cancelled Bass for Absolute Clarity
Cabinet vibrations are a primary source of distortion in high-power monitors, but the MiniMain12 eliminates this at the source. Using Dual-Force™ technology, the dual 12-inch subwoofers are mounted on opposing sides of the cabinet with their motors locked together. As the cones move in opposite directions, the reactive forces cancel out before they can vibrate the cabinet, ensuring that you hear only the music and not the box. The result is a sub-bass response that is incredibly deep, tight, and completely free of traditional enclosure colouration.

Consistent Detail via Dual Ring Radiators
High-frequency "beaming" is solved through the MiniMain12’s proprietary 1-inch dual ring radiator tweeter. By pinning the centre of the diaphragm and utilising a precisely shaped phase plug, this driver provides an exceptionally wide sweet spot that extends out to 40kHz. This design ensures that the crystalline detail and imaging remain consistent even as you move around the console, providing a more reliable listening environment for critical EQ and spatial decisions.
