Super Linear (SL) Bass Driver: The 9" woofer uses ATC’s SL magnet technology, which significantly reduces third harmonic distortion, especially in the lower midrange and bass frequencies.

Super Linear Driver
At its core, Super Linear Technology is ATC’s proprietary solution to reduce third harmonic distortion in loudspeaker drivers. It does this by modifying the magnetic structure of the driver using a special material called Super Linear Magnetic Material (SLMM).
