The Alcantara earpad, as well as headband cushions, are designed to be extremely resistant to wear and tear. The earpads and headband are both user interchangeable and can be taken off in seconds.

Unmatched Durability
Rode set out to create an incredibly tough set of headphones while still providing exceptional sound quality, feeling and looking good. The stainless headband was tested under extreme pressure over 20 000 times, the wire linking the earcups is designed to withstand 25kg of force. The earcup, as well as cable, is rated to 12kg.
