Neumann is announcing two matte-black variants of its most popular mics, the BCM 104 mt and the BCM 705 mt. The BCM series has long been the go-to option for high-quality results in the radio, streaming, and podcasting realms. Unlike the standard nickel finish, these new mics are more subtle, and have a less flashy presence when shooting video to accompany your streams or podcasts.
YouTubers, podcasters, and many others will benefit greatly from the unobtrusive yet classy look of these new matte-black versions, as well as those who simply want black mics to match their black studio gear. Of course, the original nickel finishes are still available, providing customers with a greater range of choices for their set up. Otherwise, these new mics are identical to the originals so you still get the same cardioid condenser capsule for the BCM 104 and the same hypercardioid dynamic capsule with the BCM 705.
