Real Tube Tone. Total Digital Control.
Who is Freqport?
Founded in 2019, Freqport is the brainchild of a mix of principal electronics engineers, musicians, and a record label, all united by a mission to reinvent the analog audio experience in digital workflows. They aim to let anyone "run real analog as plugins"—meaning you can integrate genuine analog hardware into your DAW seamlessly, with bit-perfect, high-end audio quality and full recall/control. Though they’re deeply embedded in the tech and music space, Freqport has a multinational presence, operating offices in Copenhagen, Denmark (as you suspected) and Melbourne, Australia
For the first time, analogue tube warmth meets digital convenience - the FreqTube FT-1 brings the unmistakable tone of real vacuum tubes directly into your DAW. No patchbays, no converters, no compromises. Just connect via USB and instantly shape your sound with rich harmonic drive, saturation, and analogue character - all inside your session.
What are the two audio products they currently offer?
Freqport offers two main hardware products that function as analog hardware but integrate and operate like plugins in your DAW:
FreqInOut FO1
A 4-channel hardware interface/patchbay for seamlessly routing external analog outboard gear into your DAW. It connects via USB-C and operates like a plugin — enabling hands-on hardware control, total recall, latency-free routing, and flexible matrix setups (including M/S mode and dry/wet blending)

FreqTube FT1
A quad-analog tube processor—a multi-instance hardware unit that lets you run real analog tubes inside your DAW like plugins. It features four independent tube channels, two tube types, analog filters per channel, and provides rich saturation, warmth, and character with bit-perfect analog processing via USB-C
