Re-engineered from the ground up, this compact active monitor delivers pristine mid-band transparency, razor-sharp stereo imaging, and deep, time-accurate bass response. Legendary Midrange Definition
At the heart of the KH 310 II lies Neumann’s acclaimed 75 mm soft-dome midrange driver, paired with an 8.25-inch Extremely Linear Force Factor (ELFF) woofer and a 1-inch metal dome tweeter set within a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD™) waveguide. This tri-amped system isolates crucial vocal and instrumental frequencies, delivering exceptional mid-band detail with ultra-low intermodulation distortion.
Time-Accurate Sealed Cabinet Architecture
Unlike conventional bass-reflex designs, the KH 310 II utilizes a sealed composite enclosure. This closed-box acoustic principle eliminates port turbulence and drastically reduces group delay, producing tight, articulate low-end transients down to 29 Hz. Engineers gain a trustworthy bass foundation that translates predictably across all consumer playback systems.
Integrated DSP and MA 1 Alignment
Equipped with an internal 64-bit DSP engine and a 32-bit signal path, the monitor supports Neumann MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment. Through networked phase and amplitude calibration, the system corrects room modes and boundary reflections, providing linear phase reproduction and exact acoustic adaptation for stereo, surround, and Dolby Atmos® multichannel environments.
